SAL MANSO AWARDS BANQUET – 2025

The New Year is the perfect time to reflect on all we accomplished this past year and look ahead to the opportunities before us. Our recent Awards Banquet was a fantastic celebration of everything we achieved in 2025. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it such a memorable evening. For those who were unable to join us, you were truly missed, and we look forward to celebrating together next year. I genuinely believe this was our best banquet yet!
Looking Back on the Year
For last three years I’ve been saying next year business is going to be better. One of these years I hope to be right.
This year has been challenging—but also incredibly rewarding. High interest rates have continued to put pressure on our industry. While the Feds did lower rates a couple of times, the impact on mortgage rates has been modest. On top of that, the current Administration cut funds for Northwestern which has created challenges for them. Thankfully, those issues have been resolved, and grants have now been restored.
Reebie continues to make some bold moves that have been paying off well for us. While some movers have scaled back or closed all together, we have continued to reinvest.
This year, we opened our new Milwaukee agency on May 1st, and we are already the top Allied agent in that region.
- Because of this, despite the declining business in the moving space, we’ve achieved a 21% increase in consumer business
Our Corporate business increased 16%.

One of the things I’m especially proud of is the recognition our drivers received this year. Our Drivers are the backbone of our business. We value their commitment to safety, their dedication to hauling, and the outstanding customer service they deliver every day. To all our drivers—we appreciate what you do and we thank you.
Our Impact Beyond the Business
While reflecting on our performance is important, I want to shift to something even more meaningful: the impact Reebie has on our community.
I am proud that Reebie gives all of us the means to support our families, keep a roof over our heads, and invest in our children’s futures. Our success also allows us to give back—through community involvement, charitable giving, and supporting organizations that truly make a difference.
Some of the organizations we proudly support include:
- Susan G. Komen – advancing breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer. With our team wearing pink, Allied raised over $35,000.
- Gary Sinise Foundation – supporting defenders, veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need. With NorthAmerican, we raised over $30,000.
- Move for Hunger – fighting food waste and hunger through the relocation industry.
- Reebie raised over 100,000 pounds of food, donated to Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry.
Our internal marketing committee also deserves recognition for helping us get involved in additional community-focused events, including:
- Santa Claus Luncheon – made possible by my sister’s generosity, providing Christmas gifts for our employees’ children and families.
- Holiday Parades – where our replica moving van and ATV cars bring joy (and lots of candy) to the community.
- Touch-A-Truck – now in its second year, and expanded due to the overwhelming popularity.
