DataBank –
DataBank is having another great year. The gross profit margin is up over last year and our labor cost keeps going down. I am also happy to report that we have had no vehicle accidents or workers compensation claims for the whole year and our DataBank Surveys are all in the excellent categories. Alice and Anthony are doing a great job with the running of this department. Keep up the good work.
Accounting Department –
We want to welcome Angela Rangel Bautista to the accounting department. She is working part time as our much-needed accounting scanner. We wish her well in this new role and know she will do an excellent job for Reebie.
The accounting department has been training and cross training for the better part of the year. Claudia is learning the accounts payable role and local operations payroll. Both of these roles are very important to the success of Reebie. Yamilet has taken on the role of Accounting Department Administration Assistant. She is assisting Connie with the Owner Operators and Kim with payment application and eventually local moves. With her knowledge in A/P, local revenue, and local payroll she will be assisting all in aspects of the department. The Accounting team is in place and ready for the summer season.
I want to add a special thanks to Alicia Garza, Michelle Abbs and Laurie Gomez for working so diligently on the accounts receivable report. It is the lowest amount I have ever seen in my time at Reebie and it is so important to the success of Reebie keeping our accounts current.
