On May 16th, 2026, Reebie Storage & Moving Co. participated in the Susan G. Komen Chicago Race for the Cure, one of the most beloved and impactful fundraising events in the city. Team “Allied for the Cure” took to the streets alongside tens of thousands of supporters, representing not just a company, but a community of people who believe in giving back.
The team’s participation was made all the more meaningful by the remarkable efforts of Reebie’s own Patricia Licata, who was recognized as one of the event’s top fundraisers. Reebie is incredibly proud of her achievement and grateful for everything she brought to the effort. We would like to extend our thanks to all who donated and participated.

About the Susan G. Komen Foundation
Founded in 1982, Susan G. Komen is the world’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to ending breast cancer. Named in honor of Susan Goodman Komen, who passed away from breast cancer at the age of 36, the foundation has since invested more than $3.5 billion in groundbreaking research, community health programs, advocacy, and patient support services.
The Komen Chicago Race for the Cure is one of the foundation’s signature events, a celebration of hope and resilience that brings together survivors, supporters, and community members to raise funds that directly fuel the mission. Every dollar raised supports life-saving research and helps ensure that patients across the Chicago area and beyond have access to the care and resources they need.

Reebie’s Commitment to Community
Reebie Storage & Moving Co. has called Chicago home since 1880, and in that time, the company has grown to be much more than a moving and storage business. We are neighbors, partners, and community members, and we take that responsibility seriously.
Supporting charitable organizations and causes that strengthen our city and uplift its people is something Reebie has long prioritized. Whether it’s participating in local events, encouraging employee volunteerism, or rallying around causes that touch the lives of our colleagues and customers, we believe that being a good business means being a good citizen.
Breast cancer has affected countless families across Chicago and around the world, as well as within the Reebie organization. Standing alongside the Susan G. Komen Foundation in its mission to end this disease is a core piece of who we are as a company and the values we carry every day.

Thank You
We want to thank Patricia Licata and every member of Team Reebie & Allied who walked, ran, fundraised, volunteered, and donated. Your contribution makes a huge difference in defeating breast cancer for good.
Reebie Storage & Moving Co. looks forward to continuing to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the broader Chicago community for many years to come.
