I’m pleased to report that we are partway through our peak season and demand for our services are at an unprecedented level, however it’s rather unfortunate that we must turn away much of this business due to our lack of available capacity as we are experiencing some challenges that we’ve never dealt with before, at least not of this magnitude. There are nationwide shortages of labor, equipment, and materials and scarcity brings along rising costs which makes it even more difficult for us to be profitable. With that being said, we are learning to adapt to the current economy and so we’ve implemented several new initiatives that will help alleviate some of the stress on our employees and contractors, while at the same time bringing in more profitable work.
One of the main reasons we’ve been able to withstand all of these challenges is our steady focus on the quality of services that we provide. The service providers listed below are responsible for much of our success, so please join me in congratulating them for their outstanding performance:

I wanted to also congratulate Raul Samano for being named Allied Van Lines’ “Driver of the Month” in April. Raul has maintained a perfect 5.0 quality rating with his customers and has zero claims so far this year. This is truly an amazing accomplishment and we are all very proud of him.
Last, but not least, I would like to take a moment to personally thank all of our drivers and service personnel for being safe while on the jobsite and on the roadways. Also, thank you to everyone who has already been vaccinated or intends on getting one. As of today, Illinois is down to a 7-day average of a .6% positivity rate, with 40% of our state’s population vaccinated. These figures are something that we could’ve only dreamed of a year ago.
