OPERATIONS: JEFF ABBS – Page 6
Looking ahead to the new year, I’m excited about the opportunities in front of us. With clear priorities, new ideas, and the lessons we’ve learned from this past year, we’re well positioned to keep building momentum. The coming year will bring new challenges, but also new chances to grow and succeed.
Our awards banquet in December gave us a chance to recognize some of our key players this past year. This year’s Mover of the Year out of Franklin Park was Nicolas Corral. Nicolas has been with Reebie since 2012 and is one of our most dependable movers. J Torres won the award for Mover of the Year in Naperville. Torres had perfect scores across the board including Operations, Customer Surveys, and Safety. Our Intrastate Independent Contractor of the Year award was given to Andres Bolanos. Andres and his team ended the year with a perfect 5.0 Customer Survey score. Denis Robinson has accomplished so much since he officially joined our team in 2019. This year Denis was acknowledged as North American Van Line’s Driver of the Month in June, and is ranked as a Vanguard Gold driver, which is North American’s equivalent to a Master Mover. Through all of his efforts in customer service, production, and safety, Denis was awarded our Interstate Contractor of the Year award in 2025. Finally, our Operations Administration Employee of the Year award winner is Isabel Griffin. Isabel has been with Reebie since 2003 and always goes above and beyond her job duties. She contributes so much of her time to helping with the many extracurricular activities that Reebie is involved in. This includes all of the parades, Touch-a-Truck events, company luncheons, our luncheon with Santa, etc. Not only that, Isabel oversaw a 22% increase this year in our revenue at the Skyview warehouse. Thank you, Isabel, for everything you do for our team!
Congratulations once again to all of our 2025 award winners!
Carl Sandburg, a famous American poet and writer, once said, “Although no one can go back and make a brand-new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand-new ending.”
As we take our first steps into the New Year, let us remember that we can make our brand-new ending, starting now. Perhaps this is a chance to make some positive changes in your life. We can be kinder and more compassionate towards each other. Let’s support each other, respect each other, and work together as a team in 2026.
Sincerely,
Jeff
