Q4 Sales and Coordination

That’s a wrap on 2022! As I reflect on not just Q4 but as well as the year, I must say that I am very proud of both the sales and coordination teams, despite some of the short comings we had. Of course it pains me that we were down 517 shipments this year compared to last as well as not coming in first place (rather 3rd place) for consumer shipments in the Allied system. However, it is amazing how well we finished despite all of the hurtles we had to jump. When I stepped in for Richard as Director of Sales, I was very lucky to have met Miss Christine Kurka who has and is continuing to move herself up in the PSA rankings month after month. I don’t think I could have possibly found a better replacement for myself in the northern territory and I am very excited to see what next year has to hold for her. As I evaluated the teams back in February, I saw a somewhat beat down and tired group. Unfortunately, two very valuable members to both teams had just about all they can take in their position and moved on to achieve other endeavors for themselves. Just before peak season, we were given the extremely difficult task not just finding replacements, but also get them trained in the heat of the battle. Lightening struck twice with two more great hires in Jenepher Zuniga and Roberto Vinci. They would go on throughout the year trying their best to learn and contribute as best they can despite being bombarded by the woes and tribulations that the peak season has to bring. The fact that they were able to do so well being new with peak season workload, as well as the youth they bring to our teams has me extremely excited to see how they can grow with our company. Once I finally took a step back and thought my teams were set, we had our hearts ripped out of our chests with the sudden passing of our own Linda Novy. The coordination team, as they have been doing all year once again stepped up to the plate and took on even more extra work and duties to get us through the year. Despite how crazy the year was; the team was able to pull off one of our strongest quarters of the year and get our conversion rate past 20% as well as catch up and even almost beat the other two top Allied agencies. Had we performed all year like we did in quarter 4, we would have no doubt remained as “Top Dog”. As we start 2023, I am very happy to announce another new and promising addition to the coordination staff, Amanda Quezada. Amanda had previously worked at Beltmann and in her time there, made a name for herself in our market as someone who is dependable and a pleasure to work with according to anyone who has worked with her. Now that we seem to have boths teams set and ready for the year. I am very excited to see what we can pull off in 2023!
