FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT: RICHARD LICATA – Page 2
The New Year allows us to look back at last year’s achievements and look forward to the promise of new beginnings. What a great Awards Banquet we had to celebrate all our successes in 2022. For those that were able to join us – thank you! For those that couldn’t be there…we missed you and hope to see you there next year! I am glad we were able to get back together under what some would call the new normal.
The last 3 years have been a very bumpy road. We had a major pandemic, record high inflation, and now we are heading into a recession. But through it all, we’ve prevailed and it’s because of all of you. We have worked together to persevere in these unprecedented times. We have remained open, the salespeople went virtual and found new innovative ways to sell, and our drivers and helpers put themselves in harm’s way each and every day going into people’s homes. Thanks to everyone for finishing another successful year for Reebie. Here are just a few of the milestones we hit this year…
- Like last year, we booked up every day from the last week of May until the first week in Oct.
- Meanwhile we used Peak Capacity Rates throughout this whole period – and with a bigger percentage of a bigger pie – means you take home more money.
- Our Interstate Contractors enjoyed Level 20 pricing all summer (effective 30% discount) – that is the same level discount when I started 40 years ago!
- Last year we made history and booked over $3 million in revenue for a single month. This year we accomplished that 3 months in a row.
- We booked $1 million more in O&I business than Local business – we’ve done this by curbing our local moves to make room for more O&I moves.
- We also renewed the Northwestern Account for another 5 to 7 years.
So, thank you for your enormous contributions.
