DATABANK: ROBERT LICATA – Page 5
DataBank – “DOING MORE WITH LESS.”
What a contrast between 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. In 2020 DataBank was looking for work for our DataBank messengers to perform. With all the offices and government buildings closed, DataBank moving services came to an almost complete stop. We did our best to keep everyone working and employed which was not an easy task. Despite these challenges, we survived and with Anthony’s management skills keeping our costs down, DataBank even generated a small gross profit.
Skipping to 2021, we are “DOING MORE WITH LESS.” With businesses and government buildings opening up there is a pent up demand for our services mostly in the shredding category. In 2020 there was little to no shredding and in 2021 we have seen a boom in that area. Considering the fact that we are also shorthanded on DataBank employees and we are not able to use Operation personnel we would expect to be falling behind on the work load. That has not been the case however. We are getting the job done and keeping our quality level high. With three retirements in recent years and our inability to hire new DataBank employees to replace them we are doing more work with less people.
DataBank is hiring – If you know of anyone interested please have them see Anthony.
Accounting – “WORKING AS A TEAM TO GET THE JOB DONE”
Let me start by Congratulating Yamilet on the birth of her first child Genesis a healthy baby girl. We wish both of you all the best —- and welcome back! That’s the good news. On the flip side we are sad to see Donna Locascio leaving the Reebie family. She has been a wonderful associate for Reebie and I hate when we lose good people. We wish her the very best in her new employment.
The accounting department is really pulling it all together right now with everyone pulling double duties to get the job done. With the record breaking amount of jobs Reebie is preforming this summer you would think that we would be falling behind but that is certainly not the case. We are working as a team to get the job done. Laurie has done an excellent job keeping the moral high and the work load moving through the system. Special thanks to the whole department for really proving once again what a tremendous team we have in place.
Thanks and have a safe summer
ROB
