FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT: RICHARD LICATA – Page 2
November came and went fast this year. It didn’t even seem like we had much of a fall as we went right into winter with an early snowfall and arctic blast. It’s a shame to because November is typically one of my favorite months. The air is clean and crisp and just right for wearing a big ole sweater. But November, and with it, Thanksgiving, is also a time of reflection. To be thankful of what we have both personally and professionally. I am certainly thankful of my family; three boys, mother, and siblings. But I am also thankful of my Reebie Family; all of you guys and girls. We have a great family with some of the most talented people in the system. It is no wonder we continue to out perform the market in sales, hauling, and customer service. We are the envy of the moving system and have collected some recent awards as tangible proof of that. Awards like the Big Dawg Award chosen by the drivers in the system rating us the best agency in the business or the Customer for Life Award because of consistent high-quality performance scores. These are just two of many key metrics that prove our worthiness. It’s a good thing to. Our customers are demanding so much more of us. In the Amazon age were people get immediate gratification when they can order something on a Sunday and get it on Monday. Or if an item does have longer transit dates, they inform you upfront of exactly when you can expect to receive it or allow you to track it yourself. And if you are not completely satisfied with the item you ordered, Amazon tells you to just keep it. This is the level of expectation that is currently out there today. So, we have to keep reinventing ourselves and find new and better ways to do our day to day business. To do that, we have to be open to change and to continue to perform at our best; our best attention to detail, our best energy, and our best execution. I know you are up for the challenge and I am thankful of that.
