FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT: SAL MANSO – Page 2

June was a GREAT month we did well…and I mean “WE” because of all your great efforts we did as much work as we could each and every day and we did it well.  That is not easy and it comes with a lot of work, planning, execution, and desire. Thank you all for the great work you did and continue to do.

This is my last article for REEBIE WRAPS as President.  Starting August 12 Richard Licata will take over as President & CEO and HE IS READY!  Rob Licata will be taking over as VP & CFO and HE IS READY.  Please do your best to be Patient with them as they may stumble but WILL NEVER FALL.

It is often said that transitions begin with an ending and end with a beginning.  Transitions can be challenging, and yet they are inevitable.  I have been blessed to lead this company for some 34 years and working here for over 50 years.

What have I learned in these over 50 years?  A Lot!  I started working for Licata Moving & Storage part time in 1967 and full time in 1969 a few of the things to share with you.  I have always treated REEBIE as a living being with the attitude that is if REEBIE is healthy we are all healthy and REEBIE always came first.  I also was involved as a counsler in the Boy scouts for a number of years as one of my Sons became an Eagle Scout and I learned a lot from them that I used and still use to this date. Number # 1 Prepare  for the worst but always hope for the best.  I have been doing that in my personal as well as in my business life.  Leave the forest better than you found it!  I’am leaving REEBIE better than when I was introduced to it in 1974 when Leo Licata purchased the company.

Many have asked me what I Plan on doing when I retire I really don’t have any plans but I have many options.  There are moments when I reflect, wherever I’m at driving in my car, wherever and I say to myself no matter what I’m going through in life at the moment, from where I’ve been, where I came from to where I’am now, you know what? life isn’t bad.

May GOD Bless you all and may GOD bless REEBIE
