DataBank Surveys:

The results of the DataBank surveys are starting to come in and I have to complement the whole team on a job well done.    We are rated EXCELLENT in all eight categories.  We are rated 4.8 in “Would you recommend DataBank” and 4.9 for “Overall Service”.  This is the best performance in those two catogies that we have rated in the past two years.  All our clients where very complementary of Alicia and Anthony and the whole DataBank team.

Here is the list of our 1st quarter bonus recipients:

Ed Garza

Enrique Juarez

Roy Marquez

Reebie Accounting Department:

With the unexpected departure of Laurie Gomez the accounting department had to act fast and  fill a very large hole in our team.  We started to fill that gap with the hiring of Michelle Abbs full time and Sam Stapleton for summer help.  They have both performed very well and have exceeded our expectations and we are excited for them to continue to learn more and further support the team.

In addition to filling Laurie’s main job in accounting, we also had to distribute and train others within and outside of accounting to cover the work that Laurie performed.  This has been a huge task and the team responded to the challenges with everyone stepping up to take on more work but more importantly take on more responsibility for the work they perform.    To start with we had the Northwestern University account and their very specialized form of invoicing through the NU portal that Bill Vallos designed.    Laura Owens took on that billing role.  Along with Bob Lobanico and Bill Vallos there is every confidence that there will not be any letdown in that department. Alicia Garza has taken on the Office and Industrial billing along with SIT at origin.  Both of these areas are extremely important and time consuming but Alicia is a quick learner and she is very professional which she learned from her many years with our DataBank clients.    Gonzalo Carrillo added the commercial storage monthly billing and International billing any others to his roles and I am sure that he will excel in that position as well..   Angel Burl volunteered to handle the Destination SIT billing since she was already familiar with that process.  There will be no let down in those areas.  Then there is the rest of the team, Dulce, Kim, Connie, Yamilet and Mike all of whom took on more roles within their own areas of responsibility.   These are just some of new changes and challenges we have had to tackle during our busiest time of the year and I could not be prouder of how everyone has come together to get this accomplished.
