Q3 Sales and Coordination
After a very long slow season, peak season is finally here and we are doing everything we possibly can to squeeze out every bit of it. It is no secret that after a short ending peak season last year and a late start to the season this year, Reebie has been in need of some business. Unfortunately there are not as many leads compared to last year and bookings are also down roughly 300 jobs YTD. However I must say that I am extremely proud of our sales staff as we have been doing everything we can within our control to keep Reebie on top. For Jackson, we are currently converting at 21% and on Reebie we are at 24% which is some of the best conversions we have seen for both brands at the same time! As I have been constantly preaching since business slowed down last year, we will need patients and flexibility from everyone, especially operations as we will not be able to pick and choose the best quality or highest paying jobs. Rather, we need to lower our standards and take everything we can get so long as it is profitable. With that being said, I want to make a special shout out to Ryan Thies. In my own experience with my jobs, as well as what I hear from the sales team, Ryan’s flexibility and attitude has been a huge difference maker. His attitude is “just get it on the books, and Ill figure it out” with slim to no complaints to or about the sales staff. It’s this type of attitude that allows the sales staff to book those couple extra couple jobs every week. These extra few jobs add up quickly and is what ultimately separates your middle of the pack agents from your top agents in the country. Ryan, I know the sales staff appreciates it and I’m sure the drivers do as well. As we look forward to Q3, we have a huge opportunity presented to us. It was Q3 this time last year where the moving industry started to spiral down into a recession. It seems as if it is just now that things are starting to heat up. That being said this is a chance for us to regain some much need ground. Despite the loss of Jenepher, the coordination team is still equipped with 3 high level, veteran coordinators who I have zero doubt in my mind can handle whatever we through at them. Thus far, everyone has been performing at a high level and everything seems to be lining up for a great come back in 2023, it is up to US to make it happen!
