FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT: RICHARD LICATA – Page 2

Let me first start out by sharing with you the wonderful recognition we would have received at the Operational Conference dad it not been interrupted by the breakout of this COVID pandemic. For those of you who aren’t aware, SIRVA scheduled their annual Sales and Operational Conferences back to back in Chicago this year. The Sales Conference went ahead as planned and we received some nice recognition. However, in light of this pandemic, SIRVA decided to cancel the Operational Conference. It just goes to show that SIRVA feels that the Salespeople are expendable but the Operations people are too important to risk getting sick. Had they the conference gone on as planned; we would have been recognized with many outstanding awards. Although receiving this recognition in person is far more rewarding, it shouldn’t take away from all the hard work that went into qualifying for them in the first place!

I included below a Bulletin that highlights the many awards that we were honored with. But I would like to mention a couple of prestigious awards we were recognized for. The fist award is presented to the VIP Agent of the Year. This award is voted upon by all the members in Operations and is awarded to the agent that is most helpful and best emulates the meaning of Better Together.

The other award that is nearest and dearest to my heart is the Top-Quality Agent award for region 5. We were given top honors for this award with a TQA score of 4.90.
I would also like to take a moment to congratulate one of our very own, Cristobal Ruiz, who has been selected as Allied Van Lines July 2020 Driver of the Month! We want to thank Cristobal for his valuable contribution to Reebie and the Allied Van Lines network. Cristobal received this honor because of his dedication to safety and his excellent customer service.

I know I have said it time and time again, but we are very Blessed that under all the unfortunate events that are going on in this crazy world, we have a job to go to each day and we are still open for business. My heart goes out to all those workers and entrepreneurs who have put their heart and soul into their business only to have them close by no fault of their own.
As it pertains to Reebie, we have put two good months in a row together. We are not doing the same revenue as we would typically do in the summer months, but we are thankful that we are considered essential and there is still a demand for our business. The Van Line is now ratcheting up the pricing on our interstate business and for local authority work we have been booked for most of Aug. In looking ahead with the leads that are still flowing in, all indications point toward our busy season being extended into the fall. And for that I are truly grateful. Once again, I would like to thank everyone, particularly our service providers as they are on the front-line taking care of our customers during this pandemic. They are asked to wear
masks as they deal with extreme heat with no complaints and very few service issues. As always, I’m thankful to each and every one of you for not only staying safe and keeping Reebie health during this pandemic, but also for all the good work you are doing and the great attitude you have during these difficult times.
